Welcome to CSAE – the Colorado Society of Association Executives
CSAE is the association of association professionals across Colorado, and our mission is to create opportunities for association professionals from across industries to succeed for their members through the collaborative and collective power of working together. We focus primarily as a resource for individuals to meet others in the industry, share best practices and lessons learned, and to provide forward-thinking programs and insights that energize professional development, learning, career growth, and connections. If you are an association professional in any role or even an association professional between organizations, we welcome you to join CSAE. We also welcome businesses who support the industry because we are so proud to be the official community that fosters personal and professional excellence and growth within the association management profession of Colorado.
CSAE's community of more than 400 members representing hundreds of associations and businesses across Colorado all work to elevate the power of collaboration, connections, and insight for the advancement of the important association industry. CSAE is also a partner with many other “SAEs” across the country and with the national ASAE, giving Colorado professionals a voice at the national table – and breadth and reach for success.

Each year, CSAE celebrates outstanding individuals and organizations across our community at our Annual Conference. We invite nominations (including self-nominations) in multiple categories which are listed below. Nominations opened February 25, 2025 and are due by 5pm Tuesday, April 15, 2025.
Members are invited to nominate in any and all categories - submission fee is already included as a benefit of membership. Non-members: $45 per entry.

The Association of the Year Award celebrates exceptional achievements and leadership within the state's vibrant association community. The Association of the Year Award represents the pinnacle of achievement and distinction in association management.
Emerging Leader Award
The Emerging Leader Award recognizes rising stars within associations who exhibit exceptional promise, dedication, and innovation in their respective fields.The Emerging Leader Award honors those who exemplify the future of association leadership, poised to make a lasting impact in their industries.
Outstanding New Initiative
The Outstanding New Initiative Award celebrates pioneering endeavors within associations, recognizing innovative projects that redefine standards and propel the organization forward. This prestigious honor acknowledges initiatives that demonstrate creativity, effectiveness, and adaptability in addressing emerging needs or opportunities within the association's community or industry.
Association Professional of the Year Award
The Association Professional of the Year Award recognizes an exemplary individual who has made outstanding contributions to the advancement and success of their association.
Association Partner of the Year Award
The Association Partner of the Year Award celebrates an exceptional business whose unwavering support and commitment have significantly contributed to the success and growth of the association industry.
CSAE Volunteer of the Year Award
The CSAE Volunteer of the Year Award celebrates an outstanding individual whose selfless dedication and tireless efforts have significantly enriched the CSAE community.
Lifetime Achievement Award
The Lifetime Achievement Award is the pinnacle of recognition, honoring an individual whose enduring contributions have shaped the association profession and left an indelible mark on the CSAE community. This award may be presented to anyone that has ever been involved with CSAE.
